LLF LAWYERS AND HOWELL FLEMING COMBINE LAW PRACTICES

LLF Lawyers and Howell Fleming will be combining law practices in 2012 to form the largest full-service law firm in the region. The combined law practice will continue under the LLF Lawyers name.

Howell Fleming will continue to operate from its Water St. premises through the first half of 2012, with the move to expanded LLF Lawyers premises on Aylmer St. scheduled for the summer months.

LLF Lawyers began as a 3-lawyer firm in 1991. Founded by Bill Lockington, Peter
Lawless and Bruce Fitzpatrick, the firm has added 4 partners and 6 associate lawyers and is supported by a staff of 24 employees. The firm provides specialized legal services in the areas of business law, real estate, dispute resolution, personal injury litigation and personal planning to businesses, organizations, institutions, professionals and individuals across Central Ontario.
Howell Fleming is one of the oldest law firms in Central Ontario, with continuous service at the same address dating back to the 1880’s. It has been the home of many capable partners and the source of an illustrious judiciary over the decades. The combining of the practice areas of the two firms is unique to the region. This
